Soooo it's time to head for Taipei!

And our hotel this time, Paradise Hotel (Man, I can never get to remember the chinese name LOL. Only can rmb got a 乐 inside. Oh wait I think I can rmb now, was it yi 乐园？ Dunno which yi haha)

At first glance the hotel still ok la. Not say very big and not say very small either. (But compared to the one in Taichung the previous day............... sad........) But still I was expecting something better cuz we gonna stay in this hotel for the rest of days.



Then for dinner we had this Shabu Shabu. Like Yong Tau Hoo. (LOL whenever i say this then sure got ppl tell me "pls la this is much nicer can")

So erm. You get to order the meat of your choice. So I got my favourite meat which is chicken. But its like very thin and.... not to my liking. And there so many vegetables and... er. other ingredients which some i like and some i don't. And the drink is green tea x( Combination of things that I dont like. But at least I like the soup ahahah.

Anyway after that it was finally time to shop!

Went to several shoe shops first lol. Saw some I quite liked but didn't buy cuz i was wearing my high-sleeve sneakers. Very mafan to take off. So i never try = never buy.
Then got go bag shops also but dun really see any i like. And bags are so bulky.

THEN go accessories shop!~ HEHEHEH. Bought like 6 pairs of ear studs for 100NT lololol. In Taiwan their ear studs like alot of plastic type ones. Then the metal ones is those v ex de. Like dun have those random metal ear studs like those in Bugis where its 3 for $5. (Well i didnt see it. All i saw in Ximending were plastic studs).
And the ear studs were the only thing I bought that night...

Then went to Animate~~~~ I think they sell the manga at hmm. Was it around SGD3+ each? CHEAPER THAN IN SG LA!!! Then Wz bought a few.

Then go back hotel. Went to shower. Zzzz sian. They had 2 seperate taps for hot and cold water one. Very mafan to keep turn and turn to find the appropriate temperature leh. Then the toilet also kinda cold cuz we left the toilet door open then on the aircon while we're out lol. (Cuz the aircon sux. cannot adjust the temperature one. so colddddd)



First trip out in Taipei! Chunhui came to join us today too~

Hmmm so our first stop is 金瓜石. Got gold mine there de. Then it was up in a mountain. Lucky my ear didn't get blocked this time. Maybe xi guan already.
Bleh everytime go up and down mountains. Bully my ear. LOL.

Sian arrrr it was raining =( Or should i say drizzling.


Anyway first we went to this place with traditional japanese 4-room something house which was one of the filming site for 转角遇见爱!





Go in see see look look. Take photo cannot on flash. Then i alot of shakey shots lOL.

Erm so after that go the gold mine.



Erm okay so after that. (HAHA IM SKIPPING IT)

Took a very fast bus ride to the nearby 九份老街.

Oh man its crowded! And looks like a good place to 买东西吃东西 haha. So hmm we went up and down several times (and passed the smeally beancurd x( ) Anyway we had lunch at this shop. Got sell some famous beef noodles but cuz i dun really like beef so I just had the fishball noodle. (The fishball like not nice one if i nv rmb wrongly)

Then went along the main street of 9fen. Got those fried/bbq mushroom! Yummmm. Then errr we also bought some sausage (SUPER NICE!) and pearl tea (LOTSSS OF PEARLSSSSSS. MACHIAM HALF CUP) and Singern also bought this sotong ball.

Then walk walk and bought lots of food (to bring back to sg de) Got jelly and mochiiii. LOL I bought 2 boxes! One chocolate and one assorted (i dun even rmb what flavours i picked other than 2 strawberry and 2 blueberry)

Then walk walk walk and I HEARD SOMEONE CALLING MY NAME. AND IT WAS CHEONG PAU. LOL OMG. Then Rix and Fanyuan followed behind and imma like O____O WAH SO QIAO LOL. Then chat chat abit. They on free and easy then going back SG on sunday de.
Like waaah. In SG so small then me and Fanyuan is cousin-cousin-in-law (lol) then go Taiwan so big still see each other lol. SG small nvm. But is the world so small haha.

Then bought one cheap necklace cuz its cheap and i kinda like it lol. Got some other also quite nice (like got 3 butterfly de, but i think wear den not nice lol) and more ex but i never buy since i always nv wear necklace lol (even though i like necklaces i think)

Then bought one more sausage and went back to bus ler. (OMG I MISS THE SAUSAGEEEE)

Went to some temple next... then cuz it was drizzling then we open the umbrella. Sian im starting to feel that the new umbrella i bought is too small (cuz i bought the same as Singhuey). Later use in SG den the leg all wet ler. Uwaa.

Then go some night market next. Hmm 基隆夜市. And like very fast reach liao lol. Then go there mostly is food also. Cannot shop. Then i also dun feel like eating. (OMG AM I HOMESICK). No appetite eat then everything taste not nice. And the smelly beancurd strikes again. Faint.

Then got buy some sandwich back. Like subway sia. And the bread itself so sweet de. Yum.


Had a baddddddd sleep. Woke up at like 3am cuz it was too stuffy (think they off the aircon cuz too cold). Then somemore is wake until dun feel sleepy at all. 3am... and its like the lights are ALL ON, the tv still on and volume still quite loud and..... some other disturbance. Then got up to get the controller to turn down the volume and lucky my cardigan black colour. Good blindfold lol.

Anyway our first stop is one of their national parks, 阳明山。Lucky is not climb mountain like the previous time. Then just see some animals cuz all the flowers already dropped. Then got a squirrel sooo cuteeeeeee. Haha. Anyway its quite hot even though its on the mountain and no direct sun.

After that went to a post-volcano place. Go see smoke only. Got sauna too but no one went.

After that go 淡水!!!~ Ate some fried noodles and walk around a little before taking the boat to the other side. Whhooooo windy again~ But got rain abit zzzz.

At the other side is more of shopping for accessories and souvenirs. Bought some keychains for souvenirs and also a gift for Wc~

Then while leaving, I saw their train station! Looks like our mrt station la haha. But still so cool. It reminds me of the station in... Woodland?

Then take bus to the 渔人码头. Whooo got a long long bridge and the wind dam strong. When i was taking out my cardigan i could feel that the moment i let go it will FLY OFF! SERIOUSLY.

Shared this gigantic ice cream. Zomggg 2 big big scoop for 100NT!

Next is 士林夜市! Not enough time to shop around sia. Only got a tshirt (My motto is never return empty handed!! BUAHAHAHA) and walk around abit den go eat ler.

And its back to the hotellllll.



Morning went to 中正纪念堂...... Saw some of the soldiers marching. Its different from SG de. Or dunno is this one different type. Anyway it was super slow and robotic. But i like the way they turn and then the other leg will come up almost immediately.






BALLOONS~~ Eh but whats that? Some protests going on? =o

Anyway nothing much to say bah... tourist place.... zzz. So hot and.... im so sian of these tourist place already x( Lucky this is the last tourist area liao.

Next stop is SOGO~ Hmm just go see the bookstore and cd shop. Uwaa i saw 贺军翔 and Ah Sa's photobook for the Calling for Love xD. And sigh i was kinda hoping to see Mamo's CD there.... but.... =(

Then went to the basement to eat lunch.



Bought this erm bacon spaghetti in cheese sauce? Lol first time i said cheese in chi... but i forgot the exact words i saw from the cheeseburger (吉事 btw) lol then dunno did i say something like 去死/气死 HAHAHAHAHA. Then at first i couldnt find bacon de den just nice the staff recommended it to me. Omg bacon is 比根. Zomg direct translation lololol. Then i got the meal set which is add the drink (orange juice), soup and.. salad -.- Total should be around SGD7+ i think. Should be considered cheap bah since in SG eat the pastamania then just order the pasta only alr like $7 $8+++. Anyway the bowl of soup was initially wrapped with some... egg or bread? Like roti prata liddat haha. And i was wondering what it is.
Anyway the soup very diluted =( not creamy de =( And they nv gimme enough cream sauce for my spaghetti! Huizhuang bought the same thing but hers like flooded with the sauce lol. Aww.






After that go Taipei 101! The not-the-world's-tallest-liao building. But standing under it it dun really look that tall to me lol. Or maybe towers aren't counted. Cuz i was thinking like the Eiffel Tower or Tokyo Tower that tall xD Or maybe its the tallest a long time ago? Now SG like alot buildings taller than that?

Erm okay anyway go in then Singern wanted to look for the seaweed biscuit she bought long time ago but the stall like not there anymore ler.

Left after awhile. AND i was like FINALLY ITS TIME FOR 五分埔!!!!!!! TIME TO SHOPPP RARRRRRR!

Ok its a very big place and LOTS of shops. BUT ITS SO DISAPPOINTING. Somehow i dun like all the clothes there =/ Succha disappointment.




Then me, Se and Wz went to a mini cafe to kill time instead lol. I bought chocolate toast~ Its about the same as Toastbox's chocolate thick toast lol but they only cut it into 4 whereas in TB they cut it into 9 "bite-size" (they call it bite size but its still too big anyway LOL) Yumm.

Anyway I think i still got buy something from Wufenpu (Motto: Never return empty-handed! HEH)

Er cant rmb what happened after that lol. According to the itinerary we went to 师大夜市 but i can't really rmb is which already haha.

And cuz its Sunday, it's time to watch Down With Love again! HAHA. Watch until dun wan go bathe until the show over lol. But anyway it ends at 11.30 den i forgot and just went to shower at 11 lol. Ah well. Anyway in the show Ella mentioned something about they just went to Taipei 101 and now they at Danshui, then Huizhuang was like "Oh 我们刚去！ 来我带你去" Haha. Oh man so cool to be in Taiwan. Standing on the same land as them xD

Then switch the channel after it ended and saw Calling For Love! 贺军翔!!~!~!~!~ Seems that it aired at the same time as Down With Love. Anyway we watched 海派甜心 after that haha.



Soooo this is the free activity day ler! No bus to bring us around anymore. So the plan is to shop around in Ximending until evening then go to Shilin Yeshi. (cuz it obviously only opens at night lolol)

Then morning they went to eat while me and Wz went to the Taiwan bank to exchange her old taiwan notes. Then we go some shop on the way back and bought foooooodddd! Tai yang bing and and erm. I dunno whats that lOL. Some cake bah. Then bought as souvenirs. 2 box of tai yang bing and 4 box of that cake. Omg dam heavy. x( (they got sell some Taiwan sausage also. Ah maybe i should have bought it too lolool)

So this is the 2nd last day already. Imma like chionging to finish up the money haha. Oh man. Such a different feeling when you're trying to USE UP money xD

Can't remember was it on this day. Went into an accessory shop, planning to just take a look. Then this sales girl came and intro those necklaces and earrings. So i just say i wanna take a look only. Ah but end up i still bought a pair of earring lol. Omggg first time buy so ex de. Usual price 490NT ($22) den she at first ownself give discount 450NT then I keep say like very ex i dun wan den end up i bought it for 390NT ($17) omg lol. Sigh wasnt planning to buy so ex de but ah well. I guess having at least a pair of "better earring" also better bah. Wear to those formal events hehe.




Erm ok so then its evening. Then we went to have dinner first at the Toilet Restaurant!!!

- I dont really like the spaghetti
- The cheese fries very niceeee! Even though like no cheese LOL
- OMG THE ICE CREAM!! DA ICE CREAM!!! JUST 100NT AND ITS SUPER SUPER BIGGGG BOWL! Lucky we didn't order one each LOL. We 3 ppl share also cannot finish. Wah maybe can like 5-6 ppl share one bowl lor.

Went to the Ximen station and bought the one-time ticket (or token? haha) to.... wherever Shilin night market is haha. And its not at the Shilin station de! Its one station before or after it. Oh man haha. Tourist who don't know would probably have gone there and ask people then find out they're at the wrong stop. Just like how people are asking for Raffles City at Raffles Place. Lol.


And oh ya cuz we wanted to go to the toilet but we already went out of the gate and the toilet is inside. Then its like just tell the staff and say how many ppl going in den they let u go into the paid area! Then when u come out again that time tell them. Wahh it'll never happen in SG. Sure got ppl misuse it. And most of the mrt stations no toilet de. Even if got its also outside the paid area.

Erm okay its just shopping and shopping so theres nothing much to say.

Last night sleeping in Taiwan T^T


THE LAST DAY HAVE FINALLY ARRIVED.

Went to Carrefour in the morning. Sucha long walk and its so hot =( Anyway I just bought some instant noodles for my family lol. (Beef and pork noodles... dun think i will eat it haha)

Then went back hotel and checked out before 12. And left our luggage in the lobby.

Hmmm then go back Ximending chiong finish the money. But failed cuz i still left around 700NT lol. Wanted to buy this grey dress but they no more stock so if i want i can only take the display piece. Then like got a few strands coming out / stuck those kind so didnt buy it in the end. Anyway I went back to Etude House and bought the mascara as well cuz its just 200NT~ (few days ago i bought their eyeliner). But until now while im typing this, i still havent open either of them yet lol. No chance to use it.



Too bad they no eyeshadow palette. Otherwise maybe can spend the remaining money buying that.

Then go back hotel at around 4pm. Then got this middle-age lady from England at the lobby too. Then they somehow start chatting then found out she's Xiaozhu's fan lol. xD Came all the way from England just to attend his concert omg. And she's like on wheelchair de. Uwaaa what a fan. And she showed us a photo of Xiaozhu with her alone. Omg so cool.

Then our tour guide, Eric, came. He said something like he thought our luggages got mixed up with other people's cuz its like DOUBLED HAHA. Cuz everyone got extra hand-carry bag too xD.

Hmm so its time to leave T_________T

Then did group check-in so that those whose luggage over 20kg don't have to pay. (Well, as long as not everyone's is over 20kg haha). Anyway my luggage only 15kg! Haha. Then add my hand carry bag den maybe 19kg ler. (But im not going to let them throw my tai yang bing around D:)





Then we were told that the flight got delayed zzz. From 7.10pm to 7.30pm.

But we only start going in at like 7.25? Can't rmb.

Ok so its time to flyyy back to Singapore~~ T^T Goodbye Taiwan~~~~





And sian night already. Nothing to see outside one =( Total darkness. So i borrowed one of the manga Wz bought. Bokura wa Itsumo~ (the guy look so shuai HAHA)

Then finally saw some lights outside the window. But I'm not sure what it is. Thought is some lightning but.. it doesnt move like one. Then keep got those lights. Maybe its just to light up the plane's path? IDK.

Then finallyyy see Singapore~~ At first I'm abit like "?EH? How come got desert one LOL" BUT HAHA! It's just the clouds! A very big and flat piece of cloud. And with the orange light reflections from SG! HAHA.

And OMG ITS TIME TO DESCEND AGAIN. With all the pressure-difference training from going up and down mountains, MY RIGHT EAR STILL GET BLOCKED HEAVILY D: No improvement from the previous time. Pain T^T Sianz.

Anyway reach liao den go take luggage and go out and get our mochi den go home.
UWAA THE TAXI FARE SO EX. Go up already $3, then it jumps 20 cents each time. Then got extra surcharge WHICH IS ALOT. LIKE, $10??!?! Then total is like $25!!!
