Foley recording!
Today's arranging class was just consultation. So I just asked about my POD1. ZOMG i needa change a few stuffs. Although it's not alot of things to do but its very mafan. Uwaaaaaaaa.
Then used the class studio hour to record the piano part, played by Peilin. Dunno why the gain already turn to the max but the level never reach the orange colour area, but there's a little distortion sound! And zomg the mics are so sensitive that when the door from the other studio opens/close, the sound got recorded as well!
LOL and then there was still quite a lot of time left, so we recorded
BOMB BAGS with
SURROUND MIKING. HAHA. Ok of cuz we didn't burst it inside the studio LOL. Went to burst it along the corridor and moved the mics to the area between Studio B and C. LOL so exciting ones xD. Got the reverb of the corridor! Nice sia!! Then also got this thing that you pull at a party (the pull liao den alot of colourful things fly out that one). That one we tried recording inside the studio lolol. Put inside plastic bag and pull. HAHAHAHA then the stuffs flew through the plastic bag LOLOLOLOL. So the smoke escaped through as well cuz of the hole. Then I think the studio got smoke detector and Vick was like trying to inhale all the smoke in LOL.
Then mixed the instruments a little bit den pack up ler. Then help Crystal with her drums session. Uwaaa so many many mics~ Then in the end realise the channel 9 onwards no signal =o Dunno how to make it work.
And people, if you needa manually-autotune something can go download the trial version of the "Evo Auto Tuner" (the one we use in the studios) den they let u use it for 10 days! MAHAHAHA I FINISHED TUNING MY POD2 VOCALS RIAOS. NO NEED STUDIO WHEEEEEE.
Hope i can finish my pods by friday den master in studio. Then dun edit anymore zzz. But like so rush and yet im still slacking here. zzzzz.
Then do arranging during CNY. ZZZZZZZ.
